Our existing VENTO range, using R32 refrigerant, remains a solid and important part of our portfolio as a proven solution with excellent price-performance ratio. However, the GREEN range does not stand as a replacement, but as a premium add-on for those who want to maximize the sustainability of their home.
The main technological pillar of the new range is the use of the natural refrigerant R290, also known as propane. The main reason for this transition is the dramatic reduction in environmental impact, which is best illustrated by the GWP (Global Warming Potential) value. While older, previously commonly used synthetic refrigerants such as R410A had a GWP value of around 2088, our modern VENTO range with R32 refrigerant has reduced this burden to 675. However, the new GREEN range pushes the boundaries even further, as the refrigerant R290 has an absolutely minimum GWP value of 3.
This difference is crucial not only for nature, but also for the long-term perspective of your investment, as it makes the device immune to future European regulations restricting synthetic F-gases.
The ecological benefits of the R290 refrigerant go hand in hand with practical advantages when drawing on state subsidies. Subsidy titles such as New Green for Savings or Boiler Subsidies are increasingly focused on equipment with a minimal ecological footprint. Choosing a pump with a GWP lower than 150 often means a smoother approval process and the certainty that the equipment meets the strictest environmental criteria, which may be mandatory in the future for obtaining subsidies. In addition to ecology, propane also offers excellent technical parameters, in particular the ability to reach an outlet temperature of up to 75 °C. This makes the GREEN series an ideal choice even for the reconstruction of older buildings where the original radiators requiring a higher heating water temperature are preserved.
